• Current and target JLPT level

We also automatically collect browser type, pages visited, IP address and device type for website improvement purposes.

• Save your bookmarked games and game progress
• Send password reset emails when requested

🔒 We will never sell your personal information to third parties. Your data is used solely to improve your learning experience.

Data Storage and Security

Your account data is securely stored using Supabase, a trusted cloud database. Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text. We use SSL/TLS encryption, Supabase Auth, and Row Level Security (RLS) to protect your data.

We save your data collected while sign up in google sheets along with the supabase just as a user info backup

Session tokens are stored only in your browser's local storage and expire after 7 days.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage (not traditional cookies) to store your login session, skip login preference, and game scores. Blogger and Google may set their own cookies for analytics. You can control these in your browser settings.

Advertising

Nihongo Navigator may display advertisements to support free operation of the website. Ads are shown only at natural break points such as after games — never interrupting your study content.

Nihongo Navigator is open to all ages who wish to learn Japanese. However we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 years old. If you believe your child has provided us personal information please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
